How I manifested my UPSC rank!
Manifestation is not science-backed, but doing it right can lead you to your goals.
Let me start the Article with a question for you all. Do you believe in Manifestation? Kindly answer the following poll ⬇️
You will find my answer at the end of this Article!
Alright then, let’s begin with today’s post.
Sometime in August 2018, I stuck this A4 sheet (shown below) on the wall of my room. This was my dream. And I used to see it every day.
I was disconnected from all kinds of social media. I had no idea why I pasted this A4 sheet. I was going through a very low phase- both mentally and professionally and dreaming something HUGE like this felt almost as if I was committing a crime. I got second thoughts as to how can I dream of being an All India Topper when I am not even getting decent marks in normal tests.
AND YET I DID PASTE IT.
No matter what obstacle I had to face- just like so many aspirants have to- I kept on looking at it until the final stage of Personality Interview. Even if I stood last in a mock test, even if I was having trouble understanding a concept- whatever the situation, I never stopped looking at the sheet and kept on working hard.
This is why you need “COURAGE.”
Courage does not mean that you do not get afraid of difficult situations; it only means that you are able to face that situation despite being afraid.
Courage is the first step in achieving anything you have set your mind to.
Along with courage, you need BELIEF- the belief that “You CAN do it.”
When you mix ‘Courage’ with ‘Belief’, you have for yourself a tried and tested recipe to achieve SUCCESS.
THE TRUTH ABOUT MANIFESTATION
Manifestation means to create something or turn something from an idea into a reality.
It is not backed scientifically. Truly so. If I could get something merely by dreaming about it, I would leave everything and just dream all day!
This is where we are wrong!!
Manifestation does not mean aimless dreaming.
Manifestation means putting out positive thoughts and believing in those thoughts.
That is precisely what I did. I worked very hard, each and every day, only believing that I will achieve what I have written on that A4 sheet. Even when reality tried to discourage me, even when I failed some tests, even when depression was always near my side; I never stopped believing. Did it help?
YES
Exactly 14 months later, on 25th October, 2019; UPSC released the results of ESE (Engineering Services Examination) and my name was the second in the PDF list.
I had secured an All India Rank of 2!!!
At that moment, when everyone was talking about my result, there were a lot of things said- things about my hard-work, my perseverance, my commitment, my sincerity etc etc etc.
But I knew the real cause of my success. It was that A4 sheet of paper! It was that BELIEF. It was my MANIFESTATION.
I again wrote something on an A4 sheet. This time the dream had turned into a pleasant reality.
FINAL WORDS
In conclusion, I would like to say that yes, manifestation is not completely a hoax but you need a lot many things along with it to convert your dream into reality.
Thank you for reading till the very end! 😊
All the best to anyone who is dreaming about doing anything in life! Please write in the comments as to what are your thoughts on this topic.
I had goosebumps while reading this! This is so encouraging and inspiring. I might print a screenshot of those two a4 sheets above to remind myself that with continued push, an idea indeed can take the shape of reality! ⚡️🪷
